As Valentine’s Day 2023 approaches, florists across Western Massachusetts prepare for one of their busiest days of the year. Glenn Kittle of Western Mass News visited Durocher Florist in West Springfield as they prepare and arrange all sorts of beautiful bouquets in time for Valentine’s Day.

Among the crowd of preorders, there are many last-minute shoppers looking for that special bouquet for that special someone.

While Durocher is stocked with plenty of classic red roses, owner Heather Sullivan shared a few other romantic blooms that make for a perfect Valentine’s Day bouquet. These include orchids, birds of paradise, tulips, gerbera daisies, and iris, among other vibrant and symbolic flowers. Whether you prefer iconic roses or something unique to send a Valentine’s Day sentiment,  Durocher Florist has every flower imaginable and plenty of roses to go around.
